Taylor runner-up at Batesville

Jeff Taylor took to Locust Grove, Arkansas' Batesville Motor Speedway on Saturday where the local veteran racer scored a runner-up finish in the IMCA Modified portion of the program. He did so driving Kelby Wright’s ONE Salvage No. ONE car – the same ride with which Taylor scored the Batesville victory last weekend.

This time around, Taylor claimed a second-place finish in his heat race and started eighth for the main event. He moved forward six spots in the A-Main on the 3/8-mile oval, registering his second top-two result in as many weeks.

Taylor trailed Wendell Wallace under the checkered flag, with Travis Mosley, Spencer Hartwick and Adam Maple rounding out the top-five of the 16-car feature event.
