Taylor bags podium finish in Dakota Mod Tour opener
Jeff Taylor hit the road on Saturday afternoon to compete at Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, N.D.) as the 33rd annual Dakota Classic Modified Tour powered by Industrial Electric kicked off with 56 IMCA Modifieds packed into the pit area. (Tyler Hagen Photography)
After charging from the 10th-to-2nd in his heat race, Taylor passed four cars in the 30-lap feature to score a third-place finish. He followed Tom Berry Jr. and Kollin Hibdon across the line.
On Sunday evening at Nodak Speedway (Minot, N.D.), Jeff got buried in the pill draw but managed to race forward in his heat to finish sixth. Following a third-place finish in his B-Main, Taylor gained six spots in the 30-lap feature to place 15th.
