Podium finish in Modified at Southern Oklahoma Speedway

On Thursday afternoon, Jeff Taylor invaded Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Okla.) to kick off the IMCA Southern Stampede. Competing in two rounds of heat races in his Modified, Taylor posted a fourth-place finish in his first round before Mother Nature won the second round.

The following night, Jeff followed up a fourth-place finish in his heat with a sixth-place finish in his B-Main. Starting the feature in 21st, Taylor clawed forward two spots to finish 19th.

In the Street Stock ranks, Taylor came in second in his heat before placing eighth in the feature.

To wrap up the weekend on Saturday, Jeff secured his spot into the Modified finale with a second-place finish in his B-Main. Gaining 10 spots in the 30-lap affair, Taylor reeled in a third-place finish. He trailed Tim Ward and Ethan Braaksma to the checkers.

Starting the Street Stock finale in 19th, Taylor faded three spots to finish 22nd.
