Pair of Top-10 finishes in Dakota Mod Tour opening weekend

On Saturday afternoon Jeff Taylor was one of 54 IMCA Modifieds entered at Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, N.D.) to kick off the 32nd annual Dakota Classic Modified Tour. Following a runner-up finish in his heat race, Taylor secured his spot into the opening night feature with a second-place finish in his B-Main. The following night at Nodak Speedway (Minot, N.D.), Jeff passed five cars in his heat race to come in fifth. With a runner-up spot in his B-Main aligning him 18th on the starting grid for the A-Main, Taylor gained nine positions to finish ninth.
