Runner-up finish in Winter Nationals at Ardmore

Jeff Taylor made the haul to Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Okla.) on Friday afternoon to enter his Heat Transfer Solutions No. 5 Modified into battle for the 17th annual Jordan Page Winter Nationals. With a stout field of 53 IMCA Modifieds on hand for a pair of heat races, Taylor gained three positions in the first heat to pick up the 12-lap victory before passing eight cars in the second round to place second. Earning the second-starting position for Saturday’s $2,500-to-win A-Main, Jeff ran a steady pace throughout the 30-lapper to finish second. He followed Justin Whitehead across the line with Shane DeMey, Fred Wojtek, and Mitchell Clement rounding out the Top-5.
