Top 10 Finish in Fifth Round of Winter Nationals

Jeff Taylor returned to Cocopah Speedway (Somerton, Arizona) on Thursday evening for the final three rounds of the IMCA Winter Nationals presented by Yuma Insurance. Following a 5th place finish in his heat, Taylor secured his spot into the A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his B-Main behind Joey Price. Passing two cars in the 25-lap feature, Jeff logged a 17th place outing.

On Friday night, Taylor recorded a 4th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Recording a 4th place finish, Jeff locked into the 22nd-starting position for the feature. Improving 12 spots in the 25-lap affair, Taylor reeled in a 10th place finish.

For the final round of the IMCA Winter Nationals on Saturday, Jeff fell short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Grabbing the 5th and final transfer spot in his B-Main, Taylor earned the 24th-starting position for the $1,222-to-win finale. Gaining nine spots, Jeff Taylor notched a 15th place finish.
