May 29, 2020 - Jeff Taylor Loses Brakes at Batesville Motor Speedway
1Friday night saw Jeff Taylor return behind the wheel of the Carl Murphrey owned-No. X2M Modified for the track’s point’s opener. In a field of 19 cars, Taylor secured his spot into the main event with a heat race victory. After battling for top spot early in the feature, Jeff ran into issues with his left-rear brake caliper that sent him flying off the track and into the bean field. He walked away unharmed.

May 23, 2020 - Memorial Day Weekend Cut Short at Legit Speedway Park
1With Mother Nature shifting the event back a day, Jeff Taylor traveled to Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon powering the Carl Murphrey owned-No. X2M Modified entry. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Taylor was one of two cars that were disqualified from the feature.

May 2, 2020 - Top 5 Finish in Southern Oklahoma Speedway TOMS Finale
1On Friday night Jeff Taylor made the trek to Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) powering his Spur Bar No. 5 IMCA Modified versus a stout field of 56 cars. Following a seventh place finish in his heat, Taylor advanced through the field 13 spots in his B-Main to place second behind Tyler Stevens. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish in the feature, Jeff passed 11 cars to register a sixth place finish.

1Returning on Saturday afternoon for the Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) sanctioned program, Jeff came in fourth in his heat before charging to a consolation victory. Starting the $2,000-to-win A-Main in 12th, Taylor passed seven cars in the 30-lapper to score a fifth place finish behind Tyler Stevens, Triston Dycus, Tanner Mullens, and R.C. Whitwell.
