August 31, 2019 - Jeff Taylor Records Seventh Win of the Season at West Plains

“This was a great tune-up race for the IMCA Super Nationals at Boone,” Taylor said. “This Shaw Race Car is on point, and we showed it at Legit Speedway. We’re focused on heading to Boone this week and picking up a second IMCA Super Nationals title. I’m confident that we have the car to get the job done.”

Jeff Taylor rolled into Gary Stolba’s Legit Speedway on Saturday evening, where he took part in the Holiday Inn Express IMCA Modified division. With 15 entries on hand, he advanced from the fourth-starting spot in his heat race to claim the win.

Via his heat-race performance, Taylor started in the second position for the feature. He took advantage of the starting spot to score the victory. The triumph was his second of the year at the 3/8-mile oval and his seventh overall.

Robert Powers, Carl Murphy, Keaton Atkinson, and Tony Anglin completed the Top-5 finishers.

August 17, 2019 - Taylor Takes Home Two Wins in Topless 100 at Batesville
Jeff Taylor continued his recent hot streak over the weekend with a pair of feature wins in his Industrial Electric No. 5 Spur Bar/ Wehrs Machine/ Provence Construction/ Shaw Race Car Modified. “Once again, we had a heck of a car every time that we hit the track. We won on Friday and Saturday, and if not for losing power steering on Thursday night we might’ve been able to sweep all three shows,” Taylor said. “Not only are we getting faster every time that we hit the track, but all of our Shaw Race Cars clients are progressively gaining speed. I couldn’t be more excited right now.”

1Thursday night saw Jeff Taylor invade Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) to kick off three-straight nights of action in the IMCA Modified portion of the Topless 100. In a field of 24 entries, Taylor secured his spot into the opening night feature with a third-place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 14th on the feature grid, Jeff quickly worked his way into the Top 5 before he power steering issues forced him to retire from the feature.

Returning on Friday evening, Taylor started the night with a heat race victory, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Overtaking the lead by the fourth lap, Jeff Taylor drove away from the field to secure his fifth win of the season. Mikey Bell, Ashton Wilkey, Brandon Smith, and Ricky Engles Jr. followed him across the line. He earned $1,000 for his triumph.

Wrapping up the Topless 100 weekend on Saturday night, Jeff earned the fourth-starting spot for the feature via a heat-race win. Wheeling his way to the front by the third lap, Taylor streaked to his second $1,000 win as many nights and sixth overall on the season.

August 10, 2019 - Runner-up Finish at Abilene Speedway
1On Saturday night Jeff Taylor made the trek to Abilene Speedway (Abilene, Texas) competing in the IMCA Modified ranks. Following a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Josh McGaha, Taylor passed ten cars in the feature reeling in a runner-up finish behind McGaha with Chris Elliott and Travis Mosley trailing them to the checkers.

August 3, 2019 - Jeff Taylor Rules BMS Foes for Fourth Win of the Season
For the second-straight week Jeff Taylor took his Industrial Electric No. 5 Spur Bar/ Wehrs Machine/ Provence Construction/ Shaw Race Car Modified to Victory Lane. His latest triumph came on Friday evening at Batesville Motor Speedway.

“Our team had another great weekend and got to Victory Lane. It was especially cool to have my teammate, Travis [Mosley] finishing second to me. I know it won’t be long before his car is on top of the winner’s podium,” Taylor said. “This weekend we are going to head down to New Mexico to do some testing, and then enter an event on Saturday night in Texas. We’re having a blast right now, and I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel.”

1Friday night found Jeff Taylor in action at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas), where he took his Spur Bar No. 5 Modified into battle. Advancing two spots in his heat race, Taylor streaked to a heat race victory, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the main event.

Outrunning teammate Travis Mosley, Jeff Taylor topped Mosley, Brint Hartwick, Ricky Engles Jr., and Wayne Brooks at the line to pick up his second straight win in his Shaw Race Car and his fourth overall win of the season.

1On Saturday night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri), Jeff locked his spot into the main event with an 8-lap heat race victory. Starting in the 10th position in the finale, Taylor passed six cars to reel in a fourth-place finish behind Tony Anglin, Sawyer Crigler, and Shane Kelley.
