September 29, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Race for Hope 74 at Batesville
On Tuesday evening Jeff Taylor was one of 114 IMCA Modifieds signed in at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) for the second annual Race for Hope 74. With time trials on Tuesday night setting the line-ups for heat races on Wednesday, Taylor registered the 29th fastest time locking him into the 5th-starting position for his heat. Sending only the race winner into the opening night preliminary feature, Jeff passed two cars to place 3rd. (Mike Spieker photo)

The following night, Taylor scored a 4th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Rolling off 21st, Jeff improved nine spots to place 12th.

1Returning on Friday, Taylor started the night off with a heat race victory positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the final preliminary feature. Passing two cars, Jeff scored a 3rd place finish locking him into the 9th-starting position for the Saturday’s finale

With $20,000 on the line, Jeff Taylor dropped one spot in the 74-lap affair registering a 10th place finish.

September 15, 2018 - Jeff Taylor Tallies Tenth Win of the Season at Batesville
Powering the Mark Ellis Sr. owned #7m Open Wheel Modified, Jeff Taylor made the short trip to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) on Saturday evening competing in a field of 20 cars. After starting the night off with an 8-lap heat race victory, Taylor topped Clay Norris, Brint Hartwick, Mark Norris, and Bill Frye in the 20-lap feature to capture his 10th win of the season. September 1, 2018 - Taylor Wins Big Lot Bonanza at Legit Speedway Park
1Hopping behind the wheel of Mark Ellis Sr. #7m Open Wheel Modified, Jeff Taylor visited Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri) on Friday evening for the 4th annual Reliable Chevrolet Big Lot Bonanza. Following a 3rd place finish in his heat race, Taylor discovered mechanical issues before the start of his feature that prevented him from making it out.

The following night, Taylor passed three cars in his 10-lap heat reeling in a 2nd place finish behind Shawn Welsh. Starting the feature in 4th, Jeff outran Shawn Walsh, Sawyer Crigler, Robert Powers, and Tony Anglin in the 30-lapper to pick up his ninth win of the season and a $1,500 payday.
