July 28, 2018 - Jeff Taylor Victorious in Night Two of Governor's Cup at Dacotah
1Friday night saw Jeff Taylor back in action at Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) for the two-day Governor's Cup. Drawing 43 Open Wheel Modifieds, Taylor gained four spots in his heat reeling in a 4th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Jeff posted a 2nd place finish behind Les McLenehan positioning him 18th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Jeff Taylor improved eight spots to place 10th.  

Returning on Saturday night, Taylor jumped up five spots in his 8-lap recording a 3rd place finish. Starting the main event in 14th, Jeff Taylor navigated his way to the front reeling in his eighth win of the season and an $800 payday. Jeremy Keller, Dylan Goplen, Mark Dahl, and Dan Aune completed the Top-5 finishers in the 25-lap affair.

July 22, 2018 - Taylor Records Clean Sweep at Southwest Speedway
1On Friday Jeff Taylor returned to Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) for the regular night of racing. In a field of 29 cars, Taylor locked his spot into the A-Main with a 5th place finish in his heat. Starting in 14th, Jeff advanced through the field 11 positions to place 3rd behind Quentin Kinzley, and Tom Berry Jr. with Marcus Tomlinson and Jeremy Keller completing the Top-5 finishers.

The following night brought Taylor to Southwest Speedway (Dickinson, South Dakota) competing in a field of 23 Open Wheel Modifieds for the Wissota Race of Champions. Passing six cars in his heat, Taylor streaked to an 8-lap heat race win positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the feature. Wheeling his way to the front, Jeff topped Dan Aune, Travis Olheiser, Josh Jones, and Spencer Wilson at the line to pick up his seventh win of the season.

Returning on Sunday for a make-up race from June 2nd, Taylor jumped up five spots in his heat to place 3rd. After getting sent to the tail of the field on the third lap the feature, Jeff Taylor cruised to his second straight victory and eighth on the season over Justin Bieber, Dan Aune, Travis Ulmer, and Shawn Strand.

July 13, 2018 - Taylor Makes Legendary 50 Feature at Dacotah Speedway
1After Mother Nature wiped out Monday’s event at Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, Saskatchewan), Jeff Taylor returned with the Dakota Classic Modified Tour on Tuesday night at Williston Basin Speedway (Williston, North Dakota). Dropping two spots in his heat, Taylor recorded a 7th place finish sending him into the B-Main. Starting in 12th, Jeff gained two spots logging a 10th place outing.

On Wednesday evening at Southwest Speedway (Dickinson, North Dakota), Jeff failed to finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top-5 to make the feature, Taylor came up two spots short with a 7th place outing.

Wrapping up the Dakota Classic Modified Tour on Thursday at Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota), Taylor jumped up three spots in his heat reeling in a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the 30-lap feature, Jeff fell short of a transfer position with a 7th place finish.

1On Friday night Taylor returned to Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) for the Legendary 50. With 57 Open Wheel Modifieds registered in for action, Taylor secured his spot into the A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting in 15th, Jeff was an early retiree from the feature.

July 8, 2018 - Jeff Taylor Scores 3rd Place Finish in Dakota Mod Tour Opener at Jamestown Speedway
1Tuesday night brought Jeff Taylor to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for the Firecracker 40. Reeling in a podium finish in the 40-lap affair, Taylor registered a runner-up spot behind Tyler Stevens with Drew Armstrong, Chad Melton, and David Winslett completing the Top-5 finishers.

1On Saturday night Jeff made the trek to Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, Minnesota) kicking off the Dakota Classic Modified Tour. With a stout field of 81 Open Wheel Modifieds registered in for action, Taylor jumped up three spots in his 10-lap heat to place 2nd behind Jordan Huettl. Transferring into the B-Main, Jeff streaked to a 12-lap consolation victory positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Jeff Taylor passed nine cars in the 30-lapper reeling in a 3rd place finish behind Hunter Marriott and R.C. Whitwell with Mark Dahl and John Corell completing the Top-5 finishes.

The following night at Nodak Speedway (Minot, North Dakota), Taylor logged a 6th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top-5, Jeff edged his way into the show with a 5th place finish. Rolling off 27th, Jeff Taylor gained six spots logging a 20th place outing.
