November 18th, 2017 - Jeff Taylor Lands Three Top 5 Finishes in Desert Thunder Nationals
1Jeff Taylor headed to Central Arizona Speedway (Casa Grande, Arizona) on Friday night kicking off the three-day Desert Thunder Nationals. After dropping five spots in his heat race to place 8th, Taylor improved nine positions in his B-Main scoring a 4th place finish. Earning the 26th-starting position for the opening night feature, Jeff Taylor streaked through the field 24 spots reeling in an impressive 2nd place finish behind Ricky Thornton Jr. with Lucas Schott, Austin Kuehl, and Shawn Strand completing the Top 5 finishers.

Returning on Saturday night, Taylor landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jake O’Neil positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Breaking into a Top 5 spot, Jeff jumped up two positions registering a 4th place finish behind Jake O’Neil, Mike Wedelstadt, and Ricky Thornton Jr. with Chad Melton coming in 5th.

Wrapping up the Desert Thunder Nationals on Sunday, Taylor logged a 10th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Coming in 3rd in his consolation event, Jeff locked his spot into the finale. Starting near the back of the pack, Jeff Taylor worked his way up to a 4th place finish behind Shawn Strand, Jason Noll, and Chad Melton with Jeremy Thornton completing the Tip 5 finishers.

November 10th, 2017 - Taylor Attends Duel in the Desert
1Thursday night saw Jeff Taylor return to action at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Las Vegas, Nevada) for the 20th annual Duel in the Desert. Sending the Top 2 out of each heat into the opening night qualifying feature, Taylor scored a 2nd place finish behind Dominic Ursetta.  Reeling in a Top 10 finish, Jeff landed a 9th place spot in the 25-lap affair.

Returning on Friday, Taylor started the night off with a heat race victory locking his spot into the final preliminary feature. Needing a 4th place finish or better to make the $7,777-to-win main event on Saturday night, Jeff logged an 11th place outing.
