July 29th, 2017 - Jeff Taylor Notches Third Win of Season at Legit
1After Mother Nature rained out the night on Friday at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas), Jeff Taylor visited Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri) on Saturday night powering the #2 Open Wheel Modified. Passing six cars in his heat, Taylor streaked to a heat race win positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the feature. Wheeling his way to the front, Jeff Taylor topped Shawn Walsh, Andrew Smith, Heath Grizzle, and Tyler Vinson at the finish line to pick up his third win of the season.

July 22nd, 2017 - Taylor Visits I-30 Speedway for Ed Jordan Memorial
1Behind the wheel of the Industrial Electric #5 Open Wheel Modified, Jeff Taylor invaded I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Friday night for the two-day Ed Jordan Memorial presented by Mr. Fish. Earning the 18th-starting position for the opening night feature via preliminary events, Taylor charged through the field eleven spots reeling in a 7th place finish. He was awarded the Team Friday Hard Charger after the race.

Returning on Saturday night for the $2,500 top prize, Taylor posted a 5th place finish in his heat race positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into a podium spot, Jeff passed five cars to place 2nd behind Ken Schrader with Tyler Stevens, Curtis Cook, and Drew Armstrong completing the Top 5 finishers.

July 13th, 2017 - Top 5 Finish in Dakota Mod Tour at Williston Basin Speedway
1After waiting out a brief rain delay, Jeff Taylor was one of 66 Open Wheel Modifieds signed in at Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, Saskatchewan) on Monday night continuing on with the Dakota Classic Modified Tour. Holding his spot in his heat race, Taylor posted a runner-up finish behind Brock Bauman locking him into the 2nd-starting position for his B-Main. Landing a 2nd place finish behind Jordan Grabouski, Jeff earned the 13th-starting spot for the feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top 5 finish, Jeff Taylor gained seven positions scoring a 6th place outing.

For the fourth stop of the tour, 80 Open Wheel Modifieds made the trip to Williston Basin Speedway (Williston, North Dakota) on Tuesday evening. Leading night off with a heat race win, Taylor rolled off 6th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Moving up two positions, Jeff notched a 4th place finish behind Hunter Marriott, Justin O’Brien, and Maryln Seidler with Johnny Scott coming in 5th.

On Wednesday night Taylor traveled to Southwest Speedway (Dickinson, North Dakota) competing in a field of 80 cars. Improving five spots in his heat race, Taylor scored a 5th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Passing two cars, Jeff scored a 6th place outing locking him into the 29th-starting position for the feature. Moving up 13 spots, Jeff reeled in a 16th place finish

Bringing the Dakota Classic Modified Tour to an end, Taylor stopped Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) on Thursday for the $10,000 top prize. Jumping up one spot in his heat race, Jeff scored a 3rd place finish sending him into the B-Main. Holding his spot for the entire distance of the consolation event, Taylor posted a 3rd place outing earning him the 25th-starting position for the finale. Running into mechanical issues early, Jeff Taylor was an early retiree from the feature event.

Jeff finished sixth in the final Dakota Classis Modified Tour point standings.

July 9th, 2017 - Taylor Passes 19 Cars in Opening Night of Dakota Mod Tour at Jamestown Speedway
1Debuting in the Dakota Classic Modified Tour, Jeff Taylor made the trip to Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, North Dakota) on Saturday night competing in a stout field of 100 Open Wheel Modifieds. After getting a tire cut down by another competitor in his heat, Taylor posted a 3rd place finish in his B-Main locking him into the 28th-starting position for the opening night feature. Breaking into the Top 10, Jeff charged through the field 19 spots reeling in an impressive 9th place finish.

The following night with 90 cars on hand at Nodak Speedway (Minot, North Dakota), Taylor started the night off with a heat race win locking him into the 9th-starting position for the A-Main. Losing three spots, Jeff slipped back to a 12th place outing after gambling on his setup before the race.
