February 17th, 2017 - Taylor Lands a Pair of Top 5 Finishes at AZ Mod Tour
1On Tuesday night Taylor returned to action at Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) for the fourth stop of the IMCA Arizona Modified Tour. In a stout field of 70 cars, Taylor registered an 8th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Starting in 14th, Jeff charged through the field to place 4th, edging his way into the A-Main. Rolling off 21st, Jeff Taylor improved 16 more spots scoring a 5th place finish behind Lucas Schott, Chase Allen, Jeremy Thornton, and Jimmy Gustin.

Wednesday brought the Arizona Mod Tour followers to Canyon Speedway Park (Peoria, Arizona). Starting near the back of his heat, Taylor came short of a transfer position with a 5th place spot giving him one final shot at the main event with a B-Main appearance. Taking the Top 5 out of the consolation event, Jeff logged a 6th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

Starting on the pole of his heat on Thursday, Jeff slipped back to a 3rd place finish sending him into the B-Main. Capturing a 12-lap consolation victory, Taylor earned the 13th-starting spot for the main event. Breaking into the Top 5, Jeff Taylor jumped up eight positions in the 25-lapper registering a 5th place finish behind Hunter Marriot, Cody Laney, Lucas Schott, and Curt Lund.

February 11th, 2017 - Jeff Taylor Begins 2017 Season at Arizona Mod Tour
1Jeff Taylor kicked off the 2017 racing season on Friday night at Cocopah Speedway (Yuma, Arizona) for the inaugural IMCA Arizona Modified Tour. Drawing a stout field of 85 Open Wheel Modifieds for the three-day event, Taylor placed 3rd in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 3 into the opening night A-Main, Jeff locked his spot with a runner-up finish behind Cody Laney. Starting in 18th, Jeff Taylor fell back to a 25th place outing after sufffering issues with his left-rear tire.

On Saturday starting 6th in his heat, Taylor advanced two positions but failed to transfer with a 4th place finish. Needing a 3rd place spot or better to make the feature, Jeff landed a 2nd place spot behind Jeremy Thornton. Rolling off 21st for the main event, Jeff Taylor improved six positions recording a 15th place outing.

Wrapping up the final night at Cocopah Speedway on Sunday before the tour picks back up on Tuesday, Taylor notched a 2nd place finish in his heat but was short of a transfer spot into the feature. Storming to a consolation victory, Jeff earned the 13th-starting spot for the IMCA sanctioned A-Main. Holding his spot for all 25-laps, Taylor posted a 13th place finish.
