July 15th, 2016 - Taylor Claims a Pair of Top Five Finishes in Rain-Shortened Dakota Mod Tour
1Follow two more rain-outs, the Dakota Classic Modified Tour resumed on Williston Basin Speedway (Williston, North Dakota) on Tuesday night. Storming to another heat race win from the 3rd row, Taylor earned a 10th place starting spot for the feature. Working his way into a podium finish, Jeff charged seven positions in the A-Main landing a 3rd place finish behind Hunter Marriott and Lucas Schott with Jason Grimes and Jason Wolla rounding out the top five.

On Wednesday night at Southwest Speedway (Dickinson, North Dakota) Taylor notched a runner-up finish in his heat behind Jason Wolla setting him up with a 5th place starting spot for the feature. With $2,200 on the line, Jeff wheeled his way through the field ten spots recording a 10th place finish.

For the final two nights of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour, 101 Open Wheel Modifieds signed in at Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) on Thursday. After placing 3rd in his heat race, Taylor cruised to a consolation win giving him a 19th place starting spot for the $2,200-to-win A-Main. Advancing through the field fifteen cars, Jeff Taylor brought home another top five finish placing 4th behind Ricky Thornton Jr., Lucas Schott, and Hunter Marriott with Robert Hellebust coming in 5th.

For the $10,000-to-win finale on Friday night, Jeff cruised to a heat race win giving him a 6th place starting spot for the main event. Hanging on to a top ten finish, Taylor notched a 10th place spot.

July 8th, 2016 -Taylor Competes in Dakota Classic Modified Tour
1Back behind the wheel of Shawn Strand’s #991 Open Wheel Modified, Jeff Taylor visited Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) on Friday night. Competing in a stacked field of forty-two cars, Taylor gained four spots in his heat notching a runner-up finish behind Travis Hagen. Earning a 12th place starting position for the A-Main, Taylor advanced through the field six spots posting a 6th place finish.

1Kicking off the 27th Annual Dakota Classic Modified Tour presented Kupper Chevrolet, Jeff Taylor made the trip to Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, North Dakota) on Saturday night. Soaring to a heat race win from the 3rd place starting position, Jeff was slated to start 20th for the opening night A-Main until the bad weather rolled in and cancelled the main event.
