July 25th, 2015 - Jeff Taylor Wins the Governors Cup
1On Friday night Jeff Taylor headed to Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) for the two-day Governors Cup. With 43 Open Wheel Modifieds signed in for heat race action on Friday, Taylor wheeled around Brian Brennan from his 2nd starting spot scoring a heat race victory. Starting in 4th for the main event on Saturday, Jeff worked his way through the field capturing his capturing his 7th victory of the season. Winning the Governor’s Cup for the second straight year, Jeff Taylor ousted Jason Grimes, Robert Hellebust, Aaron Turnbull, and Mike Hanson.

July 15th, 2015 - Jeff Taylor Attends Southern Iowa Speedway
1Jeff Taylor traveled to Southern Iowa Speedway (Okaloosa, Iowa) on Wednesday night to compete in a round of action in the IMCA Modified division piloting Tom Silvers #24 car. In a total field of 24 entries, Jeff scored a heat race victory from his pole position starting spot. Starting in 6th for the feature event, Taylor fell back two spots recording an 8th place finish.

July 10th, 2015 - Jeff Taylor Wins Night Two at Estevan Motor Speedway
1On Monday night Jeff made the trip to Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, Saskatchewan) competing in night two of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour. With 83 Open Wheel Modifieds on hand for the $2,100 to win event, Jeff Taylor battled back in the feature after losing seven spots in his heat.

Starting in 15th, Taylor charged through the field to hold off Aaron Turnbull's slide job on the last lap. Jeff scored his 6th victory of the season ousting Aaron Turnbull, Spencer Wilson, Aaron Marriott and Ricky Thorton Jr. (Bryon Fichter Fotography)

1The next night brought the Dakota Mod Tour to Williston Basin Speedway (Williston, North Dakota) to a packed house of 87 Open Wheel Modifieds. Jeff gained five positons from his 7th place starting spot in his heat earning his way into the $2,100 to win feature event. With a 12th place starting spot, Jeff Taylor improved six spots in the 30-lap feature retiring a 6th place finish.

1On Wednesday night Taylor visited Southwest Speedway (Dickinson, North Dakota) competing in another round in the Dakota Classic Modified Tour. Setting a new tour track record with 89 Open Wheel Modifieds signed in, Jeff powered his way from 10th to 2nd in his heat. With another $2,100 paycheck on the line, Jeff Taylor advanced 6th spots in the 30-lap feature recording a 3rd spot behind Jason Wolla and Ricky Thornton Jr. with Shawn Strand and Aaron Turnbull completing the top five.

1On night five of the Dakota Mod Tour, Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota) saw a whopping all-time tour best 98 Open Wheel Modifieds. Earning his way into yet another feature event, Jeff Taylor placed 2nd in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 2nd spot or better, Taylor scored a B-Main victory setting him up for the feature. Starting in 14th, Jeff wheeled his way through the field scoring a 5th place finish in the 30-lapper behind Jason Grimes, Lucas Schott, Mike Hanse, and Jett Big Eagle.

To wrap up the final night of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour, Jeff Taylor traveled to Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, North Dakota) for the sixth race of the tour. Starting in 3rd for his heat, Taylor failed to get into the feature event with a 3rd place outing in his heat. After placing 2nd in his B-Main and earning a spot for the A-Main, the rain settled in an ended the program early. Jeff landed in third place in the Dakota Mod Tour standings in a very tight battle.

July 5th, 2015 - Jeff Taylor Begins Dakota Classic Modified Tour
1Jeff Taylor traveled to Nodak Speedway (Minot, North Dakota) on Saturday to prepare himself for the first night of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour the following night. After qualifying and heats were ran, the rain settled in and never left. After the third rain delay it was decided to end the show and save the track for the show on Sunday.

1Entering a staggering field of 93 Open Wheel Modifieds, Taylor captured a 2nd place finish in his heat that only transferred the winner because of 12 different heat races. After starting on the high side for this B-Main, Jeff won the event transferring him into the A-Main. Starting in 16th, Jeff Taylor fell back four spots to record a 20th place finish.
